Overview
Celsus Company Limited (“Celsus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Celsus platform, accessible at celsusos.com and app.celsusos.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our services.
By accessing or using the Celsus platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.
This policy applies to all users of the platform, including property owners, property managers, and tenants accessing the renter portal, regardless of where they are located.
Data We Collect
Account and identity data
When you register, we collect your full name, work email address, phone number, and organisation details. This information is required to create and authenticate your account.
Portfolio and property data
Data you enter about properties, units, leases, rent records, maintenance requests, and financial transactions is stored and processed on your behalf. You remain the sole owner of this data.
Tenant data
When you onboard tenants through the platform, you may provide personal information about those individuals, including names, contact details, identification documents, and payment history. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from your tenants before uploading their data to Celsus.
Usage and technical data
We automatically collect log data including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used to maintain platform security and improve the service.
Payment data
Subscription billing is processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers or banking credentials on our systems.
How We Use Data
We use collected data to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Celsus platform and all its features.
- Authenticate users and enforce role-based access controls.
- Process subscription payments and manage your account.
- Send transactional communications such as invoices, alerts, and system notifications.
- Generate analytics and insights within your account, based solely on your own portfolio data.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
- Improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised usage analysis.
We do not use your portfolio data, tenant data, or financial data for any purpose other than providing the service to you. We do not sell personal data to any third party.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
Service providers
We engage sub-processors (cloud infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing) who process data on our behalf under contractual data protection obligations. These providers are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Legal obligations
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority in any applicable jurisdiction, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Celsus, our users, or the public.
Business transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified prior to any such transfer taking effect.
With your consent
We will share data with third parties only when you have explicitly authorised us to do so.
Storage & Security
Your data is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only, governed by strict role-based permissions and audit logging.
Every action taken on the platform is recorded in an immutable audit trail, blocked from deletion at the database structural level. Your data history cannot be altered or erased.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account closure, we will delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, unless retention is required by applicable law.
While we implement industry-standard security controls, no system is entirely immune to risk. We will notify you promptly in the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, in accordance with the notification requirements of applicable law.
Your Rights
Depending on the laws applicable in your country or region, you may have rights regarding your personal data, which may include:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Objection — object to certain types of processing where permitted by applicable law.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@celsusos.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Children
The Celsus platform is intended for use by businesses and individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor's data has been submitted, we will delete it promptly.
Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
